A previous word to thank all those who cared and gave a vote on our new song’s name. Much appreciated! “Labyrinth” it shall be!

Last few rehearsals have been great. All four new songs are slowly taking shape. The latest - “Labyrinth” – has seen a jazzy solo added at the very end, played on a tribal like ambience. We loved the effect. Very unusual! Can’t wait to here the public’s reaction to this one on our next gig!

Speaking of gigs, rumour has it that we are to open for a foreign progressive metal giant in May. Since no conformation has yet been obtained, no names shall be stated. Nevertheless, we are working to set things up shortly. Very exited to share a stage with such outstanding musicians!

New pictures have been placed on our myspace following a photo session last Sunday. First ones in 2008! Took them for the “entulho informativo” upcoming compilation where the song “Vast” is to appear. We thought of putting together enough cash and record one of our new songs, but time was too short so the albums title track will do our honours. On the other hand, many modern metalheads never got to hear our record back in the nineties, so this song will hopefully get across to a younger audience that aren’t familiarized with Disaffected.

More new songs are to be written shortly as we work our way to the vision of the “Vast” successor…
